A good trap for the beginner because it is easy to balance properly. The weight can be a rock or log. The weight is held up right by a long limb that is caught on a figure 7 holder. The idea is when the animal takes the bait, the limb moves, the weight falls, and the animal is flipped into the air. This trap may or may not kill the animal, but the weight will keep small game from running away.
