How to Make a cooking fire

Making a Cooking Fire

To make a good cooking fire, consider the need for a fire for (1) warmth and light, (2) a spot for boiling, and a spot for (3) frying or cooking. Keep your main fire small, your boiling fire smaller and the frying or cooking should be done over hot coals and NOT on open flames...or your food will burn.
