The Apache foot trap is one that may or may not work well. First, the deer or other large game MUST step into the trap. The sharp stakes in the hole may or may not hold the animal. The tips to the sharpened stakes must be close together so the foot will become caught. Keep in mind, you will have to kill the animal if you trap one.
